Here’s a little about our very special spaces:
The Snowgoose LIVE is a 320 Capacity Live Music Venue in Macclesfield with Renkus Heinz sound rig with 2x (Hi/Mid/Low) Speakers & 4 Bass Bins – plenty of power through the range. Mics, Drum Mics & Stands, 32 Channel Allan & Heath Desk, 26”/14” Stage with Riser, Full Stage Lighting, Smoke,
4/6 + Monitors.
There’s eclectic electric music to be found here, with everything from punk, funk, reggae & ska to rock, roots and indie (sorry if I’ve left anyone out!).
A fully stocked bar will keep you cool when the choons get hot and, as with The Café Bar, both venue are smack bang in the centre of town!
The Snowgoose Café Bar is more intimate - charmingly urbane and artisan in feel, with a twist of the Swiss Ski Lodge thrown in for good measure.
Here you can find fine wines and hand-pulled real ales, witty conversation and bonkers-folk hiding from the rain and loosening their undyfoldywettygrippers!
Winsomely laid out over three-floors with lots of nooks and crannies, the Café Bar is a perfect venue for itinerant acoustic troubadours and rakish minstrels alike but has also played host to visiting music co-operatives and workshops.
The Cat & Fiddle (our newest acquisition), perched high above Macclesfield and Buxton, is Britain’s second highest alehouse and soon to be home to even more exciting musical shenanigans! With plans afoot to erect an outside performance space as well as separate stages inside. This capacious venue will lend itself out to intimate gigs, right up to bikermongus rock jamborees!
